Items For Chao

In the stages of Sonic Adventure 2 you can find many things for you chao. The chao box and key, need to enter Chao World. The small animals which hid in pipes, boxes, in Eggman's robots, and in other places in the action stages. Chaos Drives are another item for your chao. You can find them in G.U.N.'s robots when you defeat them. A mask or hat is another item which you find in the chao garden. to get these masks you need either Knuckles or Rouge. Below I will list each item for you chao.

The chao box and key - You will find three chao boxes in each action stage. The first box will contain a chao key. The second box will have three small animals in it. The thrid box will have a special animal in it which is either gold or black.

Animals - There are 21 different types of animals in Sonic Adventure 2. Each color represents which stats are raised when the chao is given the animal, (EX: a green animal raises speed.) The animals can also lower some stats as well.

The Chaos Drives - Chaos Drives are those glowing things that the G.U.N. robots drop when you destroy them. Also, the colors will appear randomly in the robots. Tails is one of the best character to get Chaos Drives.

Masks - Masks are items your chao can wear. You can find three masks in the gardens, they are pumpkin, skull, and egg hat (which is a part of the chao egg). Pumpkins are located in the hero garden and the chao garden. Skulls are found in the dark garden and egg hats are the tops of the chao egg which you can pick up. See more in Black Market section.

You must give a chao a bone dog for it to put on the mask. If you don't like the mask, wack your chao and the mask will fly off.If you don't want to wack it, and you are patient, it will take it off sooner or later.
